- Atomic watch receives time calibration radio signals (WWVB, Fort Collins, Colorado, 60 kHz) that keep the displayed time accurate.
- Time calibration signal reception:
- Auto receive function (four times per day at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 a.m.).
- Manual receive function.
- Last Signal screen can be displayed to show the date and time of the last successful reception of the time calibration radio signal.
- Timekeeping mode displays hour, minutes, seconds, month, date, and weekday.

Average battery life is 6 months from full charge to Level 3 (Charge Soon Alert) under normal operating conditions specified in user manual.
- Available Power Saving Mode turns off the display (except the Power Saving indicator) after 60 to 75 minutes in the dark. After 6 to 7 days in the dark, beeper tone, backlight, and auto-receipt of the time calibration signal are also disabled.
